Born and raised in rural southwestern Ohio. After High School attended and received Degrees from the University of Dayton in Mechanical and Materials Engineering. Worked 30 years for Monsanto Research Corporation and EG&G Inc. in Ohio as contractors for the Department of Energy. Joined Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico in 1993 as Staff Member and Design Engineer specializing in High Tech Ceramics, Metals, Plastics, and Explosives. Moved to the Durango area in 2009 and retired in 2012. I Have 3 adult Children and 2 Grandchildren. Intrests include building and fixing things, growing plants and flowers (when water available), traveling, fishing, camping, seeing, experiencing, and learning about everything. Married to the former Marie Stinson, lifelong resident of Durango and southwestern Colorado.
