First National Bank will be Construction Loan Provider

First National Bank of Durango will be our Construction Loan provider for Phase 1.  Having the construction loan financing in place before going to bid is one of the requirements of our Letter of Conditions for our USDA funded project. Many thanks to First National Bank of Durango!

Easements need to be completed very soon

We will be following up on easements again as it is one of the conditions that must be met for the USDA Letter of Conditions. If we’ve contacted you previously regarding easements and you have questions, please get in touch with us so we can answer your questions or help get you in touch with a notary to complete the easement form. We are starting the final stage of getting all the easements defined and complete and only have a short period of time to complete this process, along with all the other required items. Phase 1 water is on the move

Phase 1 is moving ahead based on 149 sign ups. Over the next two months, we will be finishing up Final Design and completing other items required in the USDA Letter of Conditions. We expect these will be done by the end of September, so we should be able to bid the project shortly after that.

Board Available to Sign you up or answer questions July 8, 2017

On July 8, 2017 form 9:30 am – 4:00 pm the LPWWA Board will be available at the Breen Community building to help anyone to signup or to answer any question anyone might have in the LPWWA district.  This is a come and go at your convenience event.  We hope to see you there so everyone is up-to-date with the facts of the project.  If you can’t make this event then please call any board member to answer any of you questions or help get you signed up.

Don’t have enough money for subscription fee but want to sign up? We can help.

If you can come up with $3,000 or more of the current $10,000 subscription fee before the July 10, 2017 deadline, we will work with you so you can make monthly payments to pay off the balance over no more than 56 months. In addition to the payments toward your subscription fee, you’ll also need to pay the monthly costs applicable to your subscription when service is available for your property.  The easiest and simplest way to reduce costs for EVERYONE on the system is to get additional subscribers at this point in time. By getting more subscribers, the fixed amount of the USDA loan payment will be shared by more people than those currently signed up, which will lower costs for EVERYONE.
